Amount of protein extracts from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded specimens stored at -25°C for 4 h
The three bars on the left represent the amount of protein extracted from the liver, lung, and small intestine not subjected to CAS treatment.
The three bars on the right represent the amount of protein extracted from the liver, lung, and small intestine stored at -25°C after being subjected to CAS treatment.
The results showed a three- to six-fold increase in protein yield for proteins obtained after CAS treatment.
The graph is shown in means + standard deviation. Five specimens were evaluated.
